Celeste Retreat at Pantheon - Homkeey Apartments

Mother/daughter trip Positive: Location was 2nd to none. Sitting on the patio listening to the violin at the Pantheon was amazing. The view at night was incredible. It was clean, supplies were extreme minimal but OK. Elevator was slow but OK. When windows are closed very very quiet. Bed in main bedroom was firm but comfortable. Check in was easy, just make sure you look at ALL the pictures before you think you can't get in. Make sure you pay attention to the link upon payment to get in. Negative: 0 hot water for 2 days(however owner was very responsive on fixing it). New hot water tank now. Then was told to use one a/c at a time, nearly impossible in the extreme heat. Smaller bedroom stiffling hot with 0 air movement and bed uneven. Bathroom nice but some sewer smell. Wash machine was not plugged in, plugged it in and used it, then blew a breaker twice. But reset it and it was fine after we shut off the a/c. The apt is very uninviting in the sense absolutely 0 personal touches. The living room beds should be made up in the event someone needs to change beds for comfort or being cooler. All in all after everything was fixed, the apt was fine and especially the location.

Great location , unresponsive hosts , very hot in summer , as not all bedrooms are air conditioned are Positive: The location is perfect Negative: The hosts are unresponsive and responds 4-5 hours after; the room had no air conditioner in 95 degree heat and we requested a fan; 12 hours still nothing even if they said they will inform their staff; we requested a one hour later check out and they responded after midnight where we then had run out of options to either store our bag or whatever else we can do

Great place for our first time in Rome! Positive: Location, spacious, clean and modern decor Negative: The small bedroom doesn’t have AC. It would nice to make it more obvious in the posting. The water temperature seemed to be quite unstable.

Avoid in the summer due to insufficient AC Positive: 1. Location and balcony with view of the pantheon were amazing. 2. The apartment was spacious, and had two full bathrooms as well as a small kitchen. 3. The host was responsive and check-in was easy. Negative: 1. The air conditioning was not sufficient during the summer heat wave. There were two AC units - one in the primary bedroom (which was constantly leaking) and one in the living room (which kept turning off). Between one of the units consistently turning off and no AC or even a fan in the second bedroom, the second bedroom was very uncomfortable for sleeping. When I informed the host about the leaking unit, her remedy was to “avoid using it” (in 38 degree weather). 2. The water heater was also leaking and the host’s remedy was to “stop using it”, which is impossible as it’s hooked up to the building’s plumbing and there was no shut off valve. Overall, it didn’t seem like the host understood the issues and did not send anyone to remediate them. 3. WiFi didn’t work well in the second bedroom (kept disconnecting) . 4. Apartment was clean overall but the doors and walls had fingerprints/dirt and need cleaning.
